The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) – an autonomous body of the University Grants Commission has accredited the College with ‘A’ grade for a period from 2019 to 2024. The College is always ranked among top ten law schools of India by the media.

We are committed to impart socially relevant and professionally desired legal education. ILS Law College was selected for the ‘Institutional Excellence Award 2013′ by the Society of Indian Law Firms (SILF) and Menon Institute of Legal Advocacy Training (MILAT) and Asian ‘Best Private Education Institute 2012-13′ award by World Consulting and Research Organization in 2013. Law and the legal profession have acquired a central place in the global economy. Along the legal complexities, it has become necessary to study the impact of globalization on social and political institutions. To facilitate such study, we have made efforts to effectively combine the theory and practice of law. The classroom teaching is supported by moot courts, legal aid, legal literacy and legal research. This will introduce you to court crafts and expose you to social realities.
You will get uncountable opportunities to dive deep in the sea of knowledge of law through the activities of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies, Centre for Mental Health Law and Policy, Indian Law Society’s Centre for Arbitration (ILSCA) and Centre for Health, Equity, Law and Policy (C-HELP), which are sister institutions of the ILS Law College and are engaged in study and research in specialized branches of law. You will bloom and grow in the wonderful ecosystem of ILS.
