Dr. Paturkar holds specializations in Business Law, Health Laws, and Laws relating to labour management relations.
Her publications include books titled as “Child Rights and the Law” and “Law of Contracts” published by Symbiosis Distance learning Centre. She has edited 9th edition of Avatar Sing on Law of Sale of Goods, published by the Eastern Book Company. She has published number of research articles in International and national journals. She was offered a fellowship at Summer University at Budapest, Hungary. She was invited as a Panel Member to speak on “Pro Bono and Legal Aid – an Indian Perspective” at the 5th Asia Pro Bono Conference held at Bali, Indonesia. She has also presented a paper on Surrogacy and the Law at the Annual Conference of Private International Law, University of Cambridge, UK. She is working as External Expert Member of the Internal Committee of the Multinational Software Company under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013. She is a Member Secretary of the ILS Ethics Committee and attached with the Ethics Committee at Jehangir Hospital and Sahyadri Hospital as Legal Expert.
