Enabling Disabled

  1. Physical facilities
    We facilitate the disabled students to bring their vehicle directly to the Laxmi Building where Lectures are conducted. They are also provided with jaws screen reader software accessible computers in the computer centre.
  2. Provision for lift
    Lifts are provided for disabled students in the library, new girls’ hostel and the Arbitration Centre which is under construction.
  3. Ramp / Rails
    Ramps and rails are build to access the Library, Laxmi Building, Saraswati Building, Mental Health center, Girls’ Hostels and the Arbitration Centre.
  4. Braille Software/facilities
    We have screen reading software Jaws for windows which is installed on one of the computers in the computer lab and also on the personal computer of Dr. Sanjay Jain, one of the Visually Challenged Teachers. He also has a Braille Printer, Braille Display & OCR Equipment Lex Scan.We also provide the Scanned Material of the Printed Documents to blind students.
  5. Rest Rooms
    There is one Wheel Chair Accessible Toilet at Mental Health Centre
  6. Scribes for examination
    We allow visually impaired students to write their examination papers with the help of writers & Computers, depending on their choice of means.
  7. Special skill development for differently abled students
    Every year we organize career counseling cum Legal Orientation workshop to develop the soft skills of students with disability
  8. Other facility 
    Under the aegis of Earn & Learn Scheme of our College, we provide the facility of readers on demand to visually impaired students College has provided financial support to disabled students to participate in a training programme called ‘National Youth Convention for Disabled Students’ at Delhi. An Endowment Prize named ‘B. P. Bavare’ is specially given to a deserving student of II LL.B. continuing in III LL.B. who is physically handicapped, devoted to studies and has regular attendance.
