‘Admissions for the Two Year LLM. Programme for the academic year 2024-25 have started’
Post Graduate Department in Law (LL.M.)
The LL.M program affiliated to SPPU commenced in 2010 with different specializations. Its intake capacity for admissions is 60 students annually. It has a dedicated faculty with four Assistant Professors inclusive of Head of the Department. Apart the Department runs a rigorous curriculum schedule as prescribed by SPPU. The students have to undertake a creative and original research work by way of dissertation in their last semester. They undergo a dedicated course on Research Methodology and Department invites Domain Experts to expose the students to research skills. The important competitions organised by department; National Level ‘Book Chapter Appreciation Competition’ since 2016-2017 for post-graduate students from various law schools in India, the State Level ‘Short Case Analysis Competition’. Students are also encouraged to participate in ‘Avishkar’- a flagship research initiative of SPPU.
