About the Workshop:
ILS Centre for Arbitration (ILSCA) is organizing a four day workshop on “Mediation and Principles of Domestic & International Arbitration”. This workshop will provide participants with core mediation skills and hands-on experience through a variety of simulations.
The first two days of workshop-19th and 20th January 2017 are dedicated to training in Mediation and its basics The next two days – 21st and 22nd January 2017 are fixed for Domestic Arbitration and International Commercial Arbitration.

Session 4: NEGOTIATION THEORY
Session 5: ROLE PLAY
Session 5: THE ROLE OF MEDIATORS & MEDIATION STYLES
Day Two-20th January 2017(Friday)
Session 1: PERSONAL APPROACH TO CONFLICT
Session 2: ROLE PLAY Time: 1 Hour (Simulation and Feedback)
Session 3: ROLE OF LAWYERS IN MEDIATION
Session 4: TACTICS WHEN STUCK (Including a Role Play)
Session 5: MODELS OF MEDIATION
Session 6: MEDIATION MUSINGS: OPEN FORUM
Day Three-21st January 2017(Saturday)
Session 1: BASIC PRINCIPLES OF DOMESTIC ARBITRATION
Session 2: HIGHLIGHTS OF 2015 AMENDMENT

Day Four-22nd January 2017 (Sunday)
Session 1: BASIC PRINCIPLES OF INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION
Session 2: EFFECT OF 2015 AMENDMENT ON INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL ARBITRATION

After Registration, Course ID shall be allotted to candidate and only by that Course ID the fees is payable. The last date of registration as well as payment is 15th Jan 2017. Register at the earliest possible; as the seats are limited to only 80 (FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS).

Registration Fees :
Registration fee is inclusive of certificates, reading material and lunch and tea (on all the four days of the workshop).
For ILS Students: Rs 2000/-
For Non-ILS Students: Rs 3000/-
For Professionals/Others – Rs.5000/-
The participants will be awarded three certificates –
- Peacekeeping and Conflict Resolution Trust (PACT)
- Catherine Davidson Mediation Services (CDMS) which will be endorsed by the resource persons for the Mediation Workshop
- Certificate for participation for the remaining two day training in Domestic and International commercial arbitration by the ADR Cell of ILS Centre for Arbitration (ILSCA).
(Attendance is compulsory for all the sessions; otherwise certificates shall not be awarded.)

Step III: Payment window opens – with Payment modes – State Bank of India Internet Banking, Other Bank’s Internet Banking, Debit/Credit Cards and Cash Deposit at SBI. Select any one mode and fill in the required details according to the nature of transaction.
