ILS Hariyali Report 2018-19

In this world of development, we often have ignored the environment and have always exploited the nature to our benefit. The hazards of this are more visible now. And therefore, today the concern towards environment protection is growing. The concern is also evident through passing of various laws for conservation, preservation and protection of environment. The college also understands the importance of conserving our environment and with that intention has constituted a ILS Environment Law Cell which is also named as Hariyali. The cell is dedicated for taking up various issues and concerns in the environment law. For this, discussion sessions by the students, research activities, competitions based on the environment law are conducted.

This year the college had organised activities as follows:

  • Screening of Movie ‘Before the Flood’
  • Research Activity: Research is being carried out by the sell through its student Ms. Sharanya Mishra on the aspect of ‘Monitoring of Noise pollution in Residential Area’. For this purpose, questionnaire is prepared and visits to various police stations have been conducted.
