Student Welfare Department Report 2013 -14

  1. ‘K.B.P. Earn & Learn’ Scheme:
    The above scheme started in the academic year 2012-13 for the benefit of economically backward students. Four students of our College are availing the benefit of this scheme from July 2013. The College received grant of Rs.1, 35,000/- from the University of Pune.
  2. Personality Development Scheme for Girls Student Organized 9 day lecture series on Dimension of Gender Equality:
    A nine-day lecture series was organized on the theme of ‘Dimension of Gender Equality’ between 19th and 31st August 2013. More than 40 students participated in the same. The College received grant of Rs.10,000/- from the University of Pune.

  3. Special Guidance Scheme:
    Mrs. Usha Ganesh conducted twenty-two Remedial Lectures for Improvement of English Language for the students of 1st B.S.L. and 1st LL.B. Mrs. Raghini Rammohan conducted six Remedial Lectures on the subject of History for the students of 1st B.S.L.

    We have received very good feedback from the students and those who got good marks in English subject, were given prices.

  4. “Stars amongst Differently Abled”
    Under the aegis of the Student Welfare Department and Equal Opportunity / Enabling Cell, ILS Law College, an event ‘Starts amongst Differently Abled’ was organized on the eve of Louis Braille Birth Anniversary i.e. 4th January 2014. For this event, the University of Pune provided financial assistance of Rs.15,000/-.
