Ms. Bhumika Rathod

Ms. Bhumika Rathod is an Assistant Professor of Sociology with over four years of teaching experience. She has been associated with ILS Law College, Pune since 2022. She holds Bachelor of technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from COEP, Pune. She pursued post graduation in Sociology from Savitribai Phule Pune University. She has been awarded the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) by National Testing Agency (NTA) for her exceptional academic and research potential.

Ms. Bhumika ‘s academic interests lie in the broad field of sociology with a focus on Classical and Contemporary Sociological Theory, Law Society and Social Change and Political Sociology. She has designed Sociology syllabi for BA LLB (5 year) program for Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her interdisciplinary academic approach integrates the analytical precision of engineering with critical, reflexive lens of Sociology.
