2nd CONSTITUTIONAL LAW EXTEMPORE MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2021-22

ILS Law College CENTRE FOR PUBLIC LAW presents 2nd CONSTITIUTIONAL LAW EXTEMPORE MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2021-22. On the occasion of Constitution Day, the Centre for Public Law is organising an Extempore Moot Court Competition for the students of II B.A.LL.B., III B.A.LL.B., IV B.A.LL.B. and II LL.B.

The moot proposition and the sides will be allotted to the participants on the date of the competition. Unlike a conventional moot where depth of research is a crucial judging factor; an extempore moot focuses on creativity, on the spot thinking and attention to detail.

No written submissions/memorials/case laws are required to be submitted by the participants.

The details of the competition are as follows:

  • Preliminary Round Side Allotment and Problem Release : 25th November 2021 – up to 10 am
  • Preliminary Round : 25th November 2021 – 2 pm onward
  • Final Round Side Allotment and Problem Release : 26th November 2021 – up to 1 pm
  • Final Round : 26th November 2021 – 5 pm onward
  • Date of Registration: 20th November 2021, 4pm onward

Please note that the competition is open only for the first 40 applicants

REGISTRATION FOR JUDGES

Students of 5th year B.A. LL.B and 3rd year LL.B are eligible to apply as judges for the preliminary round of the competition.

The application for judges will be active till 23rd November 2021, 11:59pm. The selected judges will be personally contacted by the organising committee.
