Attendance Notice and Timetable: First Term A.Y. 2026-27: II, III, IV, V B.A.LL.B. and II, III LL.B.


Date:   13th July 2026

Students of  II,  III, IV and V B.A.LL.B., II and III LL.B., please take note of the following information regarding attendance for the First Term of the Academic Year 2026-2027.

Attendance for the First Term of the Academic Year 2026-2027 will be recorded physically from 14th July 2026.

  1. As per Ordinance No 68 of Savitribai Phule Pune University, Circular No 23 of 2010, the Rules  of Legal Education of Bar Council of  India will prevail for calculation of attendance and grant of term.
  2. As per Rule 12 of the Rules for Legal Education, prescribed by the Bar Council of India under the Advocates Act, 1961, a students’ attendance must be 70% per subject per term of the classes conducted. Every student must attend at least 70% of the classes held in each individual subject to be eligible to appear for the Term End Semester Exam.
  3. A student who is unable to maintain 70% attendance in a particular subject due to exceptional circumstances may be considered for condonation only if the following conditions are fulfilled:
    1. The student has secured at least 65% attendance in the subject concerned and
    1. The student has maintained at least 70% attendance in all the subjects taken together.

The decision to permit such a student to appear for the Term  End Semester Exam in exceptional circumstances shall rest solely with the Principal, ILS Law College, Pune.

4. Permission may be granted only after due consideration of the reasons and compliance with the prescribed conditions.

5. Students are advised to regularly monitor their attendance and ensure compliance with the attendance requirements throughout the semester.

6. A student who fails to satisfy the prescribed attendance requirements and is not granted condonation by the Principal, ILS Law College, Pune shall not be permitted to appear for the Term End Semester Exam

7. In case a student is nominated / selected by the College/ Savitribai Phule Pune University to participate in any, Inter Collegiate or University Competitions, Sports and other competitions, the actual number of days spent for participation in these activities will be counted towards the attendance of the student as per Ordinance 71 of the Savitribai Phule Pune University. The student must submit application to the faculty in-charge of the activity concerned for getting such credit immediately after the activity. Credits/ Concession will not be available for any other reasons. e.g. – Volunteering for organizing activity in the College, Practice Session, Institutional Visits, In-house Conferences /Training Programs etc.

8. At the end of each month attendance of students will be displayed on the Notice Board. In case of any discrepancies in attendance records, students may make an application for the same and submit from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm on all working days to Mr. Kaustubh Gadgil, within three days of the display of such notice.

9. Student may submit application seeking condonation of attendance with necessary documents  or medical certificate. Such student shall follow the procedure mentioned below:-

A.   Students are required to register their application and submit the relevant certificates/ documents to the following faculty members in their respective offices within three working days of joining the College.

B.    The application, medical certificate and the appropriate/ necessary documents will be verified and duly signed by the faculty concerned.  

C.    After the verification by faculty, the application along with necessary documents should be submitted to the college office to Mr. Kaustubh Gadgil between 10.00am to 1.00 pm.

D.   The application along with the necessary documents/ the medical certificate should not be submitted to any other person.

E.    No  application or documents or medical certificate  will  be accepted at a later stage.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. It is compulsory for all students to wear College Identity Cardin the college campus and classroom.   
  2. Use of mobile phones in the classrooms during lectures, seminars/ workshops, conferences as well as while interacting with the teachers is strictly prohibited.
  3. Notice for optional subjects is published separately.

For II and III LL.B.

Students of II and III LL.B. Please take note of the following information regarding attendance for the First Term of the Academic Year 2026-2027.

Very Important

  • There will be two divisions for II LLB and III LLB. The distribution of students in these divisions is given below: –
Class Division A (A + C) Division B (B + C)
II LLB All students of Division A Roll 7201 to 7229 Nos. Division C All students of Division BRoll 7230 to 7256 Nos. Division C
III LLB All students of Division A Roll 8201 to 8233, 9071 Nos. Division C All students of Division BRoll 8234 to 8266, 9077 Nos. Division C

Students should attend the lectures as per the above distribution.

  • For III LLB : Lectures of Skill Enhancement Course (with 2 Credits) will be conducted on every Friday and Saturday as per the scheduled timetable. Attendance of these lectures shall be recorded in total attendance of the student.
