ILSCA-ILS ARBITRATION SYMPOSIUM: 8 March 2026


The ILSCA-ILS ADR Cell (Arbitration Team) is pleased to announce the ILSCA-ILS Arbitration Conclave, 2026, an annual initiative dedicated to advancing discourse and practical engagement in the field of arbitration and alternative dispute resolution.

The Arbitration Conclave, 2026 will feature an Arbitration Moot Court Competition, an Arbitral Award Writing Competition, and its flagship event — the Symposium 2026.

The Symposium is scheduled to be held on 8th March 2026 at ILS Centre for Arbitration and Mediation (ILSCA), Pune.

Registrations for the Symposium, 2026 will be open to students and professionals. The Symposium aims to bring together members of the Bar, in-house counsel, academicians, and students for engaging discussions on contemporary developments and emerging issues in arbitration law and practice.


Panel Discussions:

The themes for this year’s panel discussions are as follows:

  • Panel 1 — AI in Arbitration: Automating Procedure, Augmenting Strategy, and Redefining Due Process.
  • Panel 2 — Construction Arbitration in High Stakes Infrastructure Projects: Managing Risk, Delay, Technical Complexity, and Evolving Trends.
  • Panel 3 — Investor-State Dispute Settlement (ISDS) at a Crossroad: Reform, Backlash, and the Way Forward.

About Our Panels:

In the previous edition, the Symposium witnessed the participation of esteemed practitioners including partners from leading law firms, international arbitration specialists, general counsel, and experienced arbitration counsel from across jurisdictions. The discussions were moderated by accomplished arbitration professionals and associates from reputed firms.

Building on this legacy, the 2026 edition aims to maintain the same high standard of discourse and professional engagement, with distinguished panellists to be announced shortly.
