About the Centre:
ILS Centre for Training for Good Governance was established on 4th July 2022 with an aim to train Government officers, non-government organizations, and other stakeholders in the nuances and complexities of law.
In consonance with this mission to bring about good governance, the Centre is launching a hands-on, practice-driven workshop on Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023
Program Overview:
The objective of this workshop is to help corporates move from basic awareness to practical, implementation-ready compliance. It aims to translate key provisions of the Act into business processes across functions such as HR, Legal, Risk and IT, Operations, Customer management, Marketing, and Sales.
This workshop will enable participants to identify compliance gaps, understand consent frameworks, and align data handling practices with legal requirements.
It also focuses on strengthening data security, breach response, and data principal rights management. Participants will gain clarity on risk exposure, including regulatory penalties and reputational impact.
