Indian Law Society and ILS Law College, Pune, are organizing the 20th Public Memorial Lecture in memory of the late Professor S. P. Sathe, a distinguished jurist, academician, and former Principal of ILS Law College. The lecture commemorates Professor Sathe’s immense contribution to legal education, constitutional law, and the promotion of access to justice.
This year’s memorial lecture will be delivered by Dr. Milind Sathe, Advocate General of Maharashtra, who will speak on the topic “Contemporary Pillars of Access to Justice”. The theme has been thoughtfully chosen to mark and celebrate 50 years of the ILS Legal Aid Centre, highlighting the continued importance of strengthening mechanisms that ensure justice is accessible to all.
