What you will learn:
- Regulatory framework governing foreign investments in India;
- Types of foreign investments, who can invest, eligible instruments and sector specific regulations;
- India entry options and strategies for non-residents;
- Critical considerations under the Companies Act, Indian Contract Act and Competition Law for acquisition matters;
- Broad constructs of investment agreements, including share purchase, share subscription and shareholders’ agreements; and
- Deal dynamics and end-to-end deal process.
