Indian Law Society, Pune announces Autonomous Certificate Programme on Startup Laws
Brief Outline of the Programme:
India is a home to thousands of start-ups and businesses bringing cutting edge technologies and creating wealth for the founders and team.
It is crucial for founders, entrepreneurs, innovators, and workers to be familiar with the practical and legal perspectives of start-ups in this fast-paced start-up environment. Anyone who is preparing to work on their start-up concept, as well as those who have already begun and need to expand or scale up their start-ups, can benefit from taking this programme.
This programme provides a comprehensive overview of the real-world needs of modern enterprises. You will grasp how to set up a firm or a start-up, compliance requirements under various laws, numerous contracts and issues linked to intellectual property, taxation and transaction related factors at the conclusion of this course. Additionally, the Start-up India programme of the Indian government is covered in this programme. Although this programme provides a quick overview of the fundamental needs of start-ups, it does not address concerns specific to any particular industry.
Duration : 15 hours
Audience: The programme is designed for entrepreneurs, professionals who are assisting the start-ups and founders to sharpen their existing legal knowledge.
Programme Content: The subjects are divided into nine modules of one to two hours each and is followed by a question-and-answer session.

Module 3: Intellectual property management (1 hour)
Module 4: Start-up India Initiative (1 hours)
Module 5: Funding and Capital Tables (1 hour)
Module 6: Taxation (2 hours)
Module 7: ESOPs and their taxation (1 hour)
Module 8: Transaction Readiness (2 hours)
Module 9: Other Relevant Laws (2 hours)
Fireside Chat with Panel (1 hour) – Share experiences & Brainstorm on real life issues
Registration: 23rd Feb 2024 to 6th April 2024
Date of Commencement: 6th April 2024
Time: 5.30 pm – 7.30 pm
Weekends and Hybrid Mode: The first session would be physically conducted at the ILS Law College Campus, Pune and outstation participants have an option to attend this session virtually. Balance 6 sessions of 2 hours each would be conducted online.
Faculty: Expert who is an experienced professional, owners of successful startups.
Fees: Rs. 11,800/- (Rs. 10,000/- + GST @ 18% Rs. 1800)
Seats: Limited to 30
Course Material: The presentations of the sessions shall be shared with the participants in a digital format. Further, a list of recommended books/ resources shall be provided to the participants.
Certification: At the end of the course, a participant would be provided with a Certificate of Participation subject to attendance of 75% for the sessions.
Payment Mode: Online. Only through Direct SBI, Net Banking and Credit Card. Debit Cards payments are not acceptable.
