Examination Notice for students

As per the Circulars (No. 93/2020 and 94/2020) issued by the SPPU dated 16/05/2020, instructions concerning examination for the academic year 2019-20 are as follows;

Important Instructions

  1. For 1st to 5th year BA LLB, 2nd and 3rd LLB and 1st and 2nd LLM: Online lectures will be conducted till 30th May 2020.
  2. For 1st LL B Online lectures will be conducted till 10th June 2020.
  3. All students are required to attend classes regularly.
  4. All students of all years to fill and submit examination forms online as per the instructions given by SPPU between 19 May 2020 to 28 May 2020. If the forms are already submitted then students need not fill in the form again.
  5. 1st LLB and 1st BA LLB students to submit forms only after declaration of 1st semester results.
  6. The Regular University examination will be conducted only for the Final years of all the programs in traditional mode.
  7. Backlog examination of University will be held only for 5th BA LLB, 3rd LLB, 2nd year LLM.
  8. Backlog examination for other years will be conducted within 120 days from the beginning of new academic year as prescribed by SPPU.
  9. Students to regularly check the college web site for further instructions.

Examination :1st, 2nd, 3rd BA LLB and 1st and 2nd LLB

  1. Internal assessment of 20 marks, consisting of one long question (10 marks), and two short questions (5 marks each) will be conducted by the college.
  2. The internal assessment would be conducted in online mode.
  3. The Syllabus and time table for the internal assessment will be announced on the college web-site before 27 May 2020
  4. Internal Assessment for Practical Training Paper – Alternative Dispute Resolution System, 2nd LLB

Students are required to submit the prescribed drafts and reports of lectures by experts, as per the syllabus online, to the faculty member Dr. Medha Kolhatkar currently teaching the subject. The last date of submissions will be announced by the faculty.

Internal Assessment: 4th BA LLB

            If the University prescribes, the rules regarding holding of internal assessment if necessary, for purpose of declaring the result of 4th BA LLB students will be communicated as and when received from SPPU.

Examination: 5th BA LLB

  1. University examination of 50 marks will be conducted in ‘off-line written’ mode. The time table for the same will be communicated as and when received from SPPU.
  2. The syllabus and the nature of question paper will be communicated to the students once university circular is obtained.
  3. Assessment for remaining 50 marks will be conducted as per the guidelines of SPPU as and when received.
  4. Final result will be declared on the basis of both the assessments mentioned above.
  5. Internal Assessment for Practical Training Paper – Moot Court

Students are required to submit the assignments online to the faculty member conducting their moot court paper. Students must maintain simultaneously the hard copy of journals of all the assignments submitted online. The completed journal to be submitted to college by the students on the dates as and when announced.

Examination: 3rd LLB

  1. University examination will be conducted in off line written mode as per the guidelines of SPPU. The time table for the same will be communicated as and when received from SPPU.
  2. The syllabus and the nature of question paper will be communicated to the students once university circular is obtained.
  3. Internal assessment of 20 marks, consisting of one long question (10 marks), and two short questions (5 marks each) will be conducted by the college for all subjects.
  4. The internal assessment would be conducted in online mode.
  5. The Syllabus and time table for the internal assessment will be announced on the college web-site in due course of time.
  6. Internal Assessment for Practical Training Paper – Moot Court

Students are required to submit the assignments online to the respective faculty member conducting their moot court paper. Students must maintain simultaneously the hard copy of journals of all the assignments submitted online. The completed journal to be submitted to college by the students on the dates as and when announced.

Examination: LLM

  1. University examinations only for the 4th Semester of the 2nd year LL.M would be conducted as per SPPU rules. The time table for the same would be communicated as and when received from SPPU.
  2. Time table for examination of INTRODUCTION TO ALTERNATIVE DISPUTES RESOLUTION METHODS paper will be announced.
  3. Dissertations to be submitted online to the respective faculty on 15 June 2020. Students to submit the hard copy of the same on the dates as and when announced.

Examination: Diploma in Taxation Laws (DTL) and Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare (DLL)

  1. The University examination will be conducted as per the rules prescribed the SPPU. The time table will be communicated as and when received from SPPU.
