ILSCA Webinar Series 2022-23

The ILS Centre for Arbitration (ILSCA) was established on 3rd December 2016 by the Governing Council of the Indian Law Society. This Centre is established with various purposes in mind.

  1. The main purpose of establishing this Centre is to provide hands on experience to interested participants in learning the process of Arbitration and Mediation through various programmes.
  2. The Centre is also established for providing facilities for holding ad-hoc arbitration and institutional arbitrations, both in domestic as well as International commercial arbitrations. We at the ILSCA, seek to promote institutional arbitration and institutional mediation

ADR has gained immense popularity in the recent years. This calls for good training in the procedures and nuances of arbitration and Mediation not only for people in the legal fraternity, but also for people of other professions. Under the COVID Pandemic, ILSCA has geared up to provide online training programmes in Arbitration and Mediation catering to lawyers, students of law, leading businesses and legal institutes. ILSCA intends to bridge the gap between theory and practice through online training programmemes in both these areas which are gaining great importance in the legal profession.

It gives me immense happiness to mention here that the Indian Law Society has now entered its Centenary year, and the ILSCA Webinar Series 2022 is a part of the ILS Centenary Celebrations.

To this effect, we announce the First Webinar as a part of the ILSCA Webinar Series 2022-23.

The first webinar which will be held online is titled ‘Mediation in a Changing World’.
