ILS Law College is inviting students for its Internship Program in Violence Against Women. The students will get an opportunity to work on gender issues, violence against women, protection of children against violence, gender justice and related concerns.
Eligibility: Students pursuing law graduation or post graduation from ILS Law College are eligible to apply for this internship program.
Duration: The duration of the internship will be of 3 months.
Key Skills: The candidates must have knowledge about the laws relating to violence against women and children. They need to have following skills:
- Writing and Translation skills especially in Marathi language
- Creativity and Innovation
- Working in a team and cooperating with others
- Computer proficiency and knowledge of IT – especially creation of animated videos will be preferred
How to apply: Interested students are required to fill the Google form on or before 5 p.m. on 30th July, 2021 link of which is given below. In the Google form, students have to submit a write up of not more than 500 words on their views about Gender Justice in Marathi or English language. Candidates should also submit a SOP of not more than 500 words offering justification for their selection (in English or Marathi language).
Selection of the Interns: The applications of the interested candidates will be screened and selected candidates will have to undergo an interview. After interview, 2 interns will be selected by the college. Selection done by the college shall be final and shall not be called in question in any manner.
Orientation and Reporting: An orientation will be given to the intern briefing them about the nature of the work to be done. Reports of the work done will have to be submitted by the interns to the coordinator of the program as and when demanded.
Award of Certificate: Students will be provided a certificate on successful completion of the internship and submission of all the reports.
Internship Stipend: The interns will be paid stipend of Rs. 1000/- Per month.
