AIKYAM 5.0: Competition 5: Comic Strip Writing


Eligibility:

  1. Open to all students of any college/ institute offering UG and PG program
  2. Individual Participation only

General Rules:

  1. Theme of the Competition is ‘Access to Justice in the Digital Era’
  2. The theme examines the impact of digitalisation on the justice delivery system, including its benefits and challenges such as digital exclusion, accessibility, and awareness.
  3. Participants may choose any of the following sub-themes:
  4. Privacy Breach and Social Media
  5. Identity theft and Cyber Crime
  6. Online legal aid platforms and helplines
  7. Digital legal awareness and literacy
  8. Technology and marginalized communities
  9. Digital divide and access to justice
  10. Online dispute resolution mechanisms
  11. Cyber rights and digital justice
  12. The comic strip may be submitted in English, Hindi or Marathi
  13. The Legal Aid Centre reserves the right to display or publish selected entries for academic and awareness purposes with due acknowledgment.
  14. Every Participant will be allotted a code number to maintain anonymity.
  15. The host College will allow a maximum of 30 participants only on a first come first serve basis.

Submission Guidelines:

  1. The comic strip must consist of 6 to 10 panels
  2. Mode of submission may be:
    1. Hand-drawn or
    1. Digitally illustrated
  3. File format: JPEG only.
  4. Comic strips must be in landscape orientation.
  5. The submission must clearly reflect the chosen theme/ sub-theme and convey a meaningful legal message.
  6. Entries must be submitted only through the official submission form. Submissions via email or any other mode will not be accepted.
  7. File Naming Format:  CS_YourName_Code_.jpg
  8. Participants must ensure that their submission is legible, complete, and submitted within the stipulated deadline.
  9. Late or incomplete submissions shall not be considered.
  10. Sample copies of comic strips will be provided to the registered participants for reference.
  11. Please submit your comic strip on [email protected] before due date.

Criteria for Marking : Total Marks 50
