Programme Overview: The Diploma in Corporate Laws offered by the Indian Law Society is a broad-spectrum programme customized to cater to the needs of students and working legal professionals. An important part of laws and regulations, companies must comply which is ensuring that creditors, customers and suppliers have the information they need in order to be able to do business with a company with confidence.
This programme is designed to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge in corporate and allied laws. This programme offers an in-depth background on a wide range of topics arising out of corporate laws, as well as allied laws such as the Commercial Courts Act, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, Competition Law, SEBI Regulations, IPR and Data Privacy. It also seeks to cover various facets of business and corporate legislation and includes study of practical aspects of FEMA as well as covering important topics such as Corporate Taxation, Takeover Code, Labour Laws and Media Laws and Data Privacy. Submission of all the above assignments is compulsory. Failure to submit any one assignment will result in the non-completion of the course. Additionally, a minimum of 70% attendance is required to be eligible for the completion of your course. This includes your overall attendance in sessions.
