Raghavendra Phadnis Essay Writing and Case Comment Competition


 

Students of B.A., LL.B I and B.A.LL.B II are invited to participate in the “Raghavendra Phadnis Essay Writing and Case Comment Competition.” Students can submit the write ups for both the competitions, if they choose so.

Write-ups are to be submitted in a hard copy to :

and soft copy to be submitted on [email protected]

 

Last Date for submission : On or Before 28th February, 2018 between 2.00 pm- 4.30pm Second Floor, Saraswati Building

Format of the Body

  • Typed
  • Font: Times New Roman
  • Font Size: 12
  • Spacing: 1.5
  • Margin – 1 inch from all sides

(A) Essay Competition : 

Theme: Any Contemporary Socio- Legal Issue

Word Limit: Maximum 3000 words

(Some indicative themes could be ‘Should Legal Language be Simplified?’, ‘Social Implications of Triple Talaq in India’, ‘Dynamics of Right to Privacy in India’ ‘Socio-legal implications of GST’, etc.)

 

(B) Case Comment Competition : 

Theme: Any landmark judgment of the Supreme Court of India in 2016-17

Word Limit: Maximum 2000 words
