The case / legislation comment should not be more than 2500 words. The distribution of marks will be as follows:
Case Comments :
- Narration of facts … … 10 marks
- Defining of issues … … 10 marks
- Statement of arguments … … 20 marks
- Summary of Court’s decision … … 20 marks
- Critical Evaluation … … 40 marks
Legislative Comments :
- Summary of the provisions of the bill … 20 marks
- History and Object of introducing the Bill or passing the Act … 30 marks
- Critical Evaluation … 50 marks
Three prizes will be awarded to the First Three Best Comments as judged by the Committee of Judges. These comments may also be published in the College magazine.
Last date for submission of case / legislation comments is Saturday, 15th May 2021.
