“Vachan Sankalp Maharashtracha”- Maharashtra Resolves to Read

ILS Law College is celebrating “Vachan Sankalp Maharashtracha”- Maharashtra Resolves to Read by organizing the following events:

  1. Book Exhibition
  2. Book Review Competition
  3. Reading and Book-Review Workshop
  4. Meet the Authors
  5. Group Reading Sessions

1. Book Exhibition– 7th to 10th January 2025 – Library Ground Floor

    2. Book Review Competition

    Review any book (apart from the ones in the curriculum) of your choice in 700 to 1000 words. Best three reviews are to be awarded prizes, and all the participants will get certificates. Selected reviews will be uploaded on the University Portal!

    Languages – Marathi, Hindi, English

    Book Type- Fiction/ Nonfiction

    Date of submission: by 10th January 2025, 5 pm

    3. Reading and Book Review Workshop

    A Reading and Book review workshop has been arranged for the participants of the Book Review Competition. The workshop will be conducted on 8th January 2025, Wednesday, from 10 am to 11 am by Dr. Ashish Pawar and Ms. Sneha Bapat.

    Venue: Library 1st Floor

    4. Meet the Author

    The students will get a chance to interact with prominent authors. The details of the program will be informed shortly.

    5. Group Reading Sessions

    ILS Literary Club will arrange multiple group-reading sessions for the students where they will get a chance to read poems and short excerpts from their favorite books and have a healthy discussion on the same. Students are encouraged to keep a tab of the announcements made by the Literary Club for details.

    Students are encouraged to participate in the activities in large numbers and celebrate the Festival of Reading!
